January 28, 2008
Dear prospective ENC Abroad student,
As the Director of ENC Abroad, I would like to congratulate you on taking the first step to planning a brighter future for yourself. At ENC Abroad our staffs are dedicated to making your experience in China unforgettable and most importantly successful.
China's economic boom over the past three decades has made it an attractive environment for foreign students to study in China. While it is becoming increasingly popular that students study abroad in China, many study abroad agencies have started to take advantage of this situation by greatly increasing the price of their services. As the director of ENC Abroad, I decided to not follow the same steps as the other study abroad agencies and instead decided to go in the opposite direction; I decided to further lower our prices.
In early January of 2008, ENC Abroad implemented a new policy- a change from our former policy- to provide students a much lower price by simply eliminating unnecessary services. For example, we found out that our students were able to travel with BLCU and their classmates- and therefore it was not necessary for ENC Abroad to organize independent traveling arrangements made.
We also decided to eliminate expensive dinners and eliminate luxurious services because we learned that all those services were unnecessary and every student had a different idea for spending their money better.
ENC Abroad’s new policy is to bring students to China and provide them the consultation and emergency service that they would need while in China. This new policy allows us to bring the prices to the lowest point and yet maintain the quality of being an excellent service provider as well as personal advisors to students in China.
Thank you for taking the time to read our new change of policy. If you have any questions about our new 2008 policy or have any other concern, please contact us and we would be more than glad to answer your questions.
