First Week

July 11th - July 18th
9am-10:30am  Tour of BLCU
1:00pm  Orientation and Beijing Roast Duck Dinner
2:00pm- Opening a bank account, cell phones, etc.

 

July 12th
8:00am Chinese Placement Test

July 13th
First day of classes

July 14th
8:00 am  Excursion to Mutianyu Great Wall
2:00pm  Arrive to BLCU
5:00pm  Hou Hai Night
9pm- Stay longer or go to BLCU with us

July 15th
5:00pm   Go to Tiananmen and eat Hot Pot
8:00pm   Go back to BLCU

Second Week
 
July 19th - July 26th  

July 19th 5:00pm Go to see the Kungfu Legend performance with other BLCU students_Depart from the East Gate Parking Lot

July 21st- Go to Summer Palace

Third Week

July 27th – August 2nd

July 28th-29th Trip to Chengde

Saturday- Take the tour bust at the east gate parking lot at 7:00am . Arrive at Chengde around 11:30. Visit the Pu’ning Temple, the Mountain Resort.

Sunday- Visit the Bangchui Mountain, the Little Potala Palace. Return to Beijing around 18:30 

Fourth Week

Aug. 3rd – Aug.9th
Aug. 3rd – Set off to Inner Mongolia
Aug. 4th – Aug. 5th Inner Mongolia

Fifth Week

Aug. 10th – Aug. 16th

August 10th- Leave for Shanghai (Either fly or take a night train)
August 11th- Arrive at Shanghai- Visit Pudong, Nanjing Road, and visit the famous Bund
*Students at night are free to wander Shanghai and explore on their own

August 12th - Visit Shanghai Museum, Yu Yuan garden
August 12th- Leave for Beijing in a night train

 

Sixth Week

Aug. 17th – Aug. 23rd

August 18th –Shopping for souvenirs in Beijing (Ya Bao Rd.)
August 19th- August 20th —Study for Finals
August 21st- August 22nd—Finals
August 21st- Graduation Night (ceremony and celebration)
August 23rd—Leave your dorms, unless you have some other agreement with encAbroad
